Udyam Registration
Udyam Registration is the latest form for MSME business registration according to a new government notification. Udyam Registration is Udyog Aadhaar's re-classified version which provides a single registration process for all current and future companies.
Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum
The Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) is a one-page registration form that helps MSMEs register themselves and self-certify all business details like a bank account, promoter details, etc.
Back in September 2015 the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises started the Udyog Aadhaar scheme. The main goal was to support the interests of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises that operate in India. Udyog Aadhaar is a twelve-digit Unique Identification Number provided for commercial purposes by the Government of India. It is a unique identification system mainly used for small and medium scale businesses.
Once you have registered you can access many government schemes for MSMEs. Benefits include excise and direct tax deductions, simple low-interest loans, credit-guaranteed loans, government subsidies and more.
Registered companies are also eligible for financial assistance for participation in various international exhibitions. They are perfect places for networking and exhibiting products.
By applying through the primary lending agencies, registered businesses are eligible for credit-linked capacity subsidy schemes.
